Service delivery policy

PrecipWatch is software delivered over the internet. There is nothing to ship, and nothing arrives by post.
1. What you receive
- Access to the web console at precipwatch.com/app and to the mobile app, for every person you invite into your organisation.
- Rainfall monitoring of the sites you register, evaluated every five minutes against the threshold that applies to each one.
- Alerts by email, and by SMS and push where you enable them.
- Inspection records, evidence and PDF reports you create, and export of all of it.
2. When it starts

| You sign up | Immediately, on the 30-day trial of the Complete plan. No card. |
| You subscribe | Immediately on successful payment authorisation — usually within seconds. Your plan changes on the same screen. |
| You subscribe during the trial | Immediately, and the first charge is deferred to the end of the free trial. You keep the days you had left. |
| You add a site | Monitoring begins from that point forward. Rain that fell before a site existed is not backfilled into its history. |
3. Geography
The service covers the continental United States, because it is built on NOAA radar and gauge products that cover it. Coordinates outside that area are refused at the point you add a site, not after you have paid.
4. If access does not arrive
If payment succeeded and your plan has not changed within a few minutes, email [email protected] with the email address on the account. Payment and entitlement are recorded separately on our side precisely so this is answerable: we can see that the payment was taken and put the plan right.
If we cannot, the refund policy applies.
