Cancellation and refund policy

Last updated 17 September 2026

Thirty days free without a card, seven days to change your mind after any charge, and cancellation that never cuts short the period you have already paid for.

1. The free trial comes first

Every new organisation gets 30 days of the Complete plan with no card and no charge. If you do nothing at the end of it, nothing is billed. That is deliberate: we would rather you decided on the product than on a refund policy.

2. Seven-day refund window

  • Ask within 7 days of any charge — your first one or a renewal — and we refund it in full.
  • No reason required and no conditions about how much you used it.
  • Email [email protected] from the address on the account, or from any admin on it.
  • Refunds go back to the card that was charged, through Razorpay. We start it within one business day; banks typically post it within 5–7 business days after that.
  • Annual plans are covered by the same window.

3. After seven days

We do not refund a period that has already run, with one exception: where the service failed materially and we could not fix it, we refund the affected period. If you think that has happened, write to us and say what you expected and what happened — alert delivery and rainfall readings are both auditable on our side, and we will look.

4. Cancelling

  • Cancel any time from Plan & billing in the app. An admin can do it; no email or phone call is required.
  • Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not end your plan immediately: the plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and your sites keep being monitored until then.
  • The billing page shows the date it ends, from the moment you cancel.
  • After it ends the account drops to the entry plan — it is not closed, your inspection records stay available, and you can still export them. A billing state never costs you access to your own compliance record.

5. Adding and removing sites

Paid plans are priced per active site. Adding a site raises what you pay: on a monthly plan that difference appears on your next invoice, and on an annual plan it is charged when the site is added, because the next invoice may be more than a year away. Removing a site does not generate a refund within the period; it reduces what you pay from the next one.

6. Currency and card fees

Prices are in US dollars, and that is the amount we charge. Your bank may apply its own conversion rate or a foreign-transaction fee on top. Those are the bank's and we cannot refund them — a refund returns the dollar amount we charged.

7. If a payment fails

Nothing is switched off the moment a card fails. Razorpay retries, and we keep your plan active while it does. Only when the retries are exhausted does the account drop to the entry plan, and your records and monitoring continue either way.
